The bunkhouse is full of local history and character, originally serving as the village school for children from Thoralby and Newbiggin in Bishopdale. Mark’s mum actually attended school here!
Today the building has been thoughtfully converted into a comfortable and welcoming place for groups to stay, while retaining many of its original features and charm.

The bunkhouse sleeps up to 20 people across four bedrooms.
Rooms 1–3: Sleep 4 people each (2 bunk beds)
Room 4: Sleeps 8 people (4 bunk beds)
Bedding can be provided on request for a small additional fee, or you are welcome to bring your own.
The large windows include wooden shutters, perfect for blocking out the light on long summer evenings and keeping the warmth in during colder months.
Living Area
The spacious open-plan living and dining room is the heart of the bunkhouse.
